NSW/ACT Clubs racing Sharpies Sharpies race on Lake Burley Griffin from the YMCA Sailing Club every Saturday during the sailing season. The Canberra Yacht Club's twilight series is also popular, with boats venturing out on Wednesday afternoons to catch the freshening evening breeze. The ANU Sailing Club also supports Sharpie sailing and has two ANU boats that can be campaigned by being a member of the ANU Sports Union.
