ACT

October 2011 - ACT Dinghy Championships - CYC, Lake Burley Griffin

Hosted by Canberra Yacht Club, rigging was on the grass in protected Lotus Bay with sailing on West Lake. Work over the winter to remove willow weeds from Spinnaker Island also cleared away a lot of the wind shadow through the gap. As always, CYC racing offered great spectator viewing, especially starts and finishes.

View from the Wallagoot Lake Boat Club verandah, March 2007. WLBC, situated in Bournda National Park just south of Tathra, NSW, usually host their annual regatta in March, over the Canberra Day long weekend.
